Weekly Dhamma Talk. Teaching will be given by Bhante Jinalankara Thero

Lunch Dana:
At 11 am, there is rice pindapāta and offering lunch dana to the monastics, followed by communal lunch. Please bring a plate of food to share with the monastics and lay community. Ensure all food is freshly cooked and prepared in advance. We kindly request those who wish to make an offering, to deliver their contribution to the Vihara kitchen upon arrival at the Centre (no later than 10:30am). This will greatly assist with lunch preparation.
Parking
There is a car park at the back of Buddhaloka Centre which can be accessed via Terminus lane. Please be PARTICULARLY mindful when parking on the streets around the Centre to ensure that you do not obstruct driveways in any way.
About the Teacher:
The forest-dwelling monk, Bhante Jinalankara Thero, entered the noble monastic life in August 1984, after undergoing preliminary training for about a year. Thereafter, he was ordained under the guidance of the Most Venerable Kadawedduwe Sri Jinavansa Maha Thero as his preceptor.
The basic training he received as a forest-dwelling monk, along with additional training in various meditation methods such as the teaching style of Ajahn Chah of Thailand, the Mahasi meditation method of Burma, and the Pa-Auk meditation system, cultivated in him a deep wisdom and understanding.
