Sanctuary of Stillness Meditation Retreat Centre

Retreat Centre

The Sanctuary of Stillness (SOS) offers calming views that invite mindful contemplation and a deep connection with nature. This tranquil setting serves as the perfect backdrop for your spiritual development and personal growth.

We offer a range of residential retreats (9-Day, 5-Day, and Weekend Retreats), all led by the Monastics. These retreats emphasize sitting and walking meditation for several hours each day. Retreatants are required to observe the 8 precepts and maintain the Noble Silence throughout the retreat.

We also offer self-retreats for experienced and dedicated spiritual practitioners. During these retreats, you will spend most of your time in solitude and silence, allowing you to deepen your meditation practice. Please note that all self-retreatants must vacate the SOS premises when an organized retreat takes place.

As part of the retreat experience, participants are invited to support the smooth functioning of the centre by assisting in the kitchen, preparing food, or helping with essential tasks around the premises, all while maintaining Noble Silence.
