Teens Group
A flourishing society of young people who support each other in reaping practical benefits of the core teachings of the Buddha.
Our objectives:
Teaching the Dhamma in an open social space, through talks and discussions with advanced practitioners of the Dhamma, and through guided group activities that promote the Dhamma.
We presently conduct two and a half hour evening sessions on the third Saturday of each month. Programs typically includes a meditation session, discussions and Q & A sessions. Contents may vary and include workshops, watching documentaries, or any new ideas. Some activities in the past have included dana to homeless people and to the Newbury Buddhist Monastery, movie nights, and fundraising events. In April 2017 we had our very first teens’ camp at Mt Morton.
The monthly program is usually held from 5.45 pm to 8.30 pm at the Buddhaloka Centre, 71 Darling Road, Malvern East 3145
The BSV Teen group is exclusively for secondary school students – Grades 7 to 12
