About the teacher:
Bhikkhu Santacitto, originally from Banjarnegara, Central Java, is a Theravada Buddhist monk under the Saṅgha Theravāda Indonesia. He pursued his studies in Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, completing his PhD in 2013. From 2009 to 2012, he served as a guest lecturer for international students at the same university.

From 2015 to 2019, he was the Head of the Buddhist Religious Education Program at Kertarajasa Buddhist College (STAB) Batu. Since 2019, he has been serving as the Chairperson of STAB Kertarajasa.

He is active in academics and monastic duties, including teaching young monks under the Sangha Theravada Indonesia. He also frequently leads meditation retreats across Indonesia for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists.

Parking
There is a car park at the back of Buddhaloka Centre which can be accessed via Terminus lane. Please be PARTICULARLY mindful when parking on the streets around the Centre to ensure that you do not obstruct driveways in any way.
