Learn Meditation From A Monk

Want to learn how to meditate? Maybe you have tried it before but feel like you still don’t ‘get it’ or can’t ‘do it’? Would you like to learn meditation from a monk? Make meditation an enjoyable habit with free fortnightly sessions delivered by a Buddhist monk!

Over four sessions, you will learn to still your thoughts, let go of overpowering emotions, become deeply aware of everything you experience, and understand the nature of your mind. Each session grows on the last to give you more tools to develop calm, contentment and acceptance, and also allows you to progressively increase the time you are able to spend in sitting meditation.

  • Week 1: Immovable awareness: The basic method of meditation
  • Week 2: Awareness of everything
  • Week 3: Contemplative awareness

These sessions are suitable for those who are new or interested in learning meditation. You will have the opportunity to ask an experienced Buddhist monk your own questions about meditation.

"My first meditation teacher told me that there is no such things as a bad meditation. He is right. During the difficult meditations you build up your strength, which creates meditation for peace."
