New Year’s Eve Celebration

The BSV committee invites everyone to join our New Year’s Eve celebration. Join us for food, a Dhamma talk by Ajahn Nissarano, reflection of the year, and the countdown to the New Year.
Program
8:30 pm – Arrive to be seated.
9:00 pm – Supper – Bring a dish to share.
9:45 pm – Welcome message by President.
9:50 pm – Group activities.
10.20 pm – Short guided meditation led by by Ajahn Nissarano.
10:30 pm – Dhamma talk by Ajahn Nissarano.
11:15 pm – Circumambulation.
11:45 pm – Video clips and reflection by Ajahn Nissarano and Ayya Upekkha on 2022.
11.59 pm – Countdown!
12:00 am – Chanting and Sharing of merit.
12.15 am – End.
The BSV Buddhaloka Centre will be open on New Year’s Day – Sunday, 1st January 2023. Ajahn Nissarano will offer a special Dhamma reflection during the regular Sunday programme at 9.30 am. At 11 am, there is rice pindapāta and offering lunch dana to the monastics, followed by communal lunch. Please bring a plate of food to share with the monastics and lay community.
Devotees are welcome to offer flowers and incense at the Buddha statue in the front garden. The Buddhaloka Centre will be open until 5 pm for quiet reflection and meditation.
