One day silent meditation retreat led by Bhante Bodhidhaja

Time: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Venue: BSV City Centre (Buddhaloka) 71 Darling Road, Malvern East, VIC 3145

Join Bhante Bodhidhaja at the BSV city centre in East Malvern for the last meditation day in 2022 on Saturday 03 December. We will be exploring together how we can wait without wanting and appreciate and become sensitive to the beauty in every moment

There will be instruction sessions, guided meditations, Q&As, as well as opportunity for personal practice and interviews with the teacher.

Morning

8:30 – 9:00              Welcome & Introduction

9:00 – 9:30              Guided Meditation

9:30 – 10:00            Introduction Walking Meditation & Q&A

10:00 – 11:00           Individual Sitting Meditation / Walking Meditation / Being

11:00 – 12.00           Lunch Break

Afternoon

12:00 – 13:00           Individual Sitting Meditation / Walking Meditation / Being

13:00 – 14:00           Short Talk & Guided Meditation

14:00 – 15.30           Individual Sitting Meditation / Walking Meditation / Being and opportunity for 10 min interviews with the teacher

15:30 – 16:30           Q&A, Discussion & Conclusion

Noble Silence
This will be a silent retreat, in order to support the meditation & contemplation. So please speak only when necessary.
Mobile Phones
Participants are kindly requested to put away their phones.
Questions
Please write down your questions as they occur to you during the day and put them in the box outside the meditation hall. They will be answered during the last session for the day.

As the doors to the Centre and meditation hall will be left open to maximise ventilation, please dress warmly and bring a blanket or meditation shawl if you wish. There is heating in the hall.

Breaks:
Lunch
Participants need to bring their own lunch. Tea/coffee will be provided.
Tea Breaks
Please take individual tea breaks when you need them, so as to minimise congregating & talking.
