BSV Community Forum | Sunday 12 July, 12:45–2:15pm

Although it has been less than three months since our AGM, the Committee would like to invite the community to a Community Forum to connect on several important updates and to hear directly from you.

While our AGMs bring the membership together, the in-depth agenda provides limited space to explore the deeper questions of how we’re travelling as a community, what support is needed, and what might be missing in your experience. This forum is designed to fill that gap and provide an opportunity for open conversations, shared understandings, and collective exploring constructive ways forward as a community and acknowledges feedback received as part of the 2024 survey around greater engagement

Topics we will cover:

    • Building Project – current status and next steps
    • General volunteering needs at Newbury
    • Long‑term volunteering roles (Caretaker, Kitchen Manager, Centre Manager)
    • Major fundraising initiatives for the Newbury meditation hall
    • Lunch Dana shortfall at Newbury and its impact on the monastic community
    • Modernising the BSV Constitution

We warmly welcome your suggestions, questions, and reflections. Your voice will help shape how we address these challenges and how we continue to grow as a community rooted in generosity, goodwill and shared purpose and collective action.
