Vesak Day – Special Programme Commemorating the Birth, Awakening and Passing Away of the Buddha

Time: 9.30 am – 11.00 am
Venue: BSV Buddhaloka Centre
71 Darling Road, Malvern East VIC 3145

Programme:

• 8.30 am – 9.30 am – Silent Meditation (optional)
• 9.30 am – Chanting
• 9.45 am – Dhamma Talk by Ajahn Nissarano
• 10.30 am – Circumambulation, ending with offering of flowers and incense at the Buddha Statue in the front garden
  Please bring a few flowers. We will provide incense sticks.
• 11 am – Offering lunch dana to Monastics, followed by communal lunch

Note: Due to Circumambulation at 10:30 am , the normal Q&A session will not take place.
