Any profit will go to the BSV Newbury Buddhist Monastery Lay Retreat Centre\, but it is primarily an occasion for us to re-establish community. This year’s event will be held at the Newbury Buddhist Monastery (107 Beaches Lane\, Newbury).Date: Sunday\, 6 November 2022Time: 09:30 am – 03:00 pm (AEDT) \nPlease arrive by 9.00 am to enable the event to commence at 9.30 am sharp. In the morning there will be a Dhamma Talk by Ajahn Nissarano followed by Rice Pindapatha and offering lunch dana to the Monastics. Communal lunch will be at 11.30am. If you wish\, please bring a dish to share with the monastics and the lay community.  The Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony will begin at 12:30 pm. \nAttending in person:It is a compulsory requirement to register to attend the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at NBM. This will greatly assist us in the organisation of the event. We kindly request those who wish to make an offering\, to deliver their contribution to the Vihara kitchen upon arrival at the Centre (no later than 10:30am).
