Teaching will be given by Bhante Sukhacitto\nTime: 9.30 am – 11.00 am\nVenue: BSV Buddhaloka Centre\n71 Darling Road\, Malvern East VIC 3145 \nAbout Bhante Sukhacitto:\nBorn in Bad Nenndorf\, Germany\, he first encountered the teachings of the Buddha in 1986 at the age of 23 in Thailand\, where he met the teacher Ajahn Buddhadasa. \nHe has been a fully ordained monk in the Theravada tradition since 1990. In 1993 he returned to the West and gained experience in various other Buddhist traditions. He lived for several years in monasteries of the Ajahn Chah tradition in England and Switzerland. \nIn 2005 he became acquainted with Insight Dialogue (according to Gregory Kramer)\, was trained as an Insight Dialogue teacher\, and has been teaching it worldwide since 2010. \nInspired by the power of interpersonal meditation practice\, he directed the Kalyana Mitta Vihara – House of Noble Friendship – from 2016 to the beginning of 2020. \nLunch Dana:\nAt 11 am\, there is rice pindapāta and offering lunch dana to the monastics\, followed by communal lunch. Please bring a plate of food to share with the monastics and lay community. Ensure all food is freshly cooked and prepared in advance. We kindly request those who wish to make an offering\, to deliver their contribution to the Vihara kitchen upon arrival at the Centre (no later than 10:30am).
