While working in New York his longstanding interest in Buddhism led to an encounter with Ajahn Brahm. Mudito immediately resonated with his simple yet powerful teachings. With newfound inspiration\, he took Ajahn Brahm’s advice and travelled to Bodhinyana Monastery in Australia. Two years after that\, he became fully ordained as a Buddhist monk. \n\n\n\nAbout the Retreat:\nThis silent residential retreat consists of walking and sitting meditation practice. There will also be a daily Dhamma Talk and Q&A session. The teachings are sequential during this retreat\, so casual attendance is not possible. Vegetarian lunches will be provided. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoom Bond:\nAccommodations for this retreat will be single occupancy \n\nBSV: $170\nNon-Members: $250\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nVenue and Times:\nSanctuary of Stillness (SOS) Meditation Retreat Centre\, 107 Beaches Lane\, Newbury\, AUSTRALIA \n\nParticipants can arrive at SOS from 5:15pm on Fri 21 Mar and a light supper will be offered at 6:30pm.\nAn introduction and welcome to the retreat will take place at 7:15pm.\nRetreat concludes at 3:15pm on Sun 23 Mar.
