Waitlist now open.\n\n\n\n			\n				Register\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Teacher:\nAjahn Brahmavaṃso\, commonly known as Ajahn Brahm\, is a highly respected and popular Buddhist teacher with a growing international following. He is known for his teachings on meditation and for helping people develop a deeper spiritual understanding. Ajahn Brahm is also the founding father of an emerging Australian forest tradition of Buddhist monasticism\, which remains true to the original teachings of the Buddha (Dhamma) and monastic discipline (Vinaya). \nBorn in Britain\, Ajahn Brahm was ordained in 1974 and trained under the renowned Thai Forest Tradition teacher\, Ajahn Chah. He is currently the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery in Serpentine\, Western Australia\, and serves as an adviser or patron to several Buddhist organizations\, including the Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV) in Australia\, as well as others in Singapore and the UK. \n\nAbout the Retreat:\nThis silent residential retreat consists of walking and sitting meditation practice. There will also be daily Dhamma Talk and Q&A session. The teachings are sequential during this retreat and so casual attendance is not possible. \nVegetarian lunches will be provided. \nYou must register to attend this silent retreat for the full 7 days. The retreat is open only to BSV & BSWA members. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoom Bond:\nFor this retreat\, accommodation is offered as twin-share with another participant of the same gender. This approach allows us to welcome more people into the retreat and helps ensure that many can benefit from the meditation practice. \n\nBSV/BSWA Member: $370\nNon-Members: $450\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7-Day Retreat Eligibility:\n\nHave completed at least two (2) weekend retreats at BSV or have participated in organised long meditation retreats elsewhere\nMaintain a regular meditation practice.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue and Times:\n\nSanctuary of Stillness (SOS) Meditation Retreat Centre\, 107 Beaches Lane\, Newbury\, AUSTRALIA\nParticipants can arrive at SOS from 5:15pm on Sun 03 May and a light supper will be offered at 6:30pm.\nRegistrations open at 5:15pm on Sun 03 May with a light supper offered at 6:30pm.

DESCRIPTION:Open to BSV Members & Non-Members\n\n			\n				Register\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Teacher:\nAjahn Sādaro ordained in the forest tradition in Thailand in 2006. After practicing throughout SE Asia\, he returned to Australia in 2015 and now currently resides at the Buddhist Society of Victoria’s Buddhaloka vihara in Melbourne. \n\n\n\nAbout the Retreat:\nThis retreat will work with some of the meditation techniques available to us for developing the mind in stillness\, peace and wisdom. It will be suitable for new and seasoned meditators. This silent residential retreat consists of walking and sitting meditation practice. There will also be a daily Dhamma Talk and Q&A session. The teachings are sequential during this retreat\, so casual attendance is not possible. Vegetarian lunches will be provided. \nThe BSV is also pleased to share that this retreat will include an option for online attendance.
